Educated at university in Canada and the Sorbonne, Paris, she has taught
English, French, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at universities
in Canada, England and Turkey. She is the translator of books by the former
Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau, and French philosopher, Luce
Irigaray. Currently at the University of Warwick, England, she teaches
secondary and university teachers from all over the world.
She has led teacher training courses for the British Council in China,
Japan, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Mexico. Her
